With many years of successful production and DJ experience, G.Pal has become a well known and respected member of the dance music industry. As a music fan since a young age, George Pallikaris followed his passion for house and techno, and attended NYU for a degree in music technology. While at the University, he released his first commercial production on Low Pressings (1999) and joined the UCMG NY Artist Roster. After completing his military service, George focused on building his label, while also continuing to produce and remix for several major labels, host a weekly radio show, and play a monthly residency at LUV club in Athens. After a hiatus to spend time with wife and daughter, G.Pal is now coming back to the scene with full force. To accompany this new era of Swift Records, G.Pal will be hosting the “Swift Sessions” radio show on frisky radio. Editor’s Note: As this is my first post on the FRISKYblog, I just wanted to make a quick introduction. I was first introduced to electronic music in 2000, starting with the Global Underground series and Oakenfold Essential Mixes, which blew my mind and changed my life. Soon after diving into the music, I went to school for Recording Arts, to learn the production and engineering side of the industry (and later, for Music Business). 10 years later and the music still drives my life, something that I am continually grateful for. Thank you frisky, for the chance to get involved in a new way! - -Lauren Krieger (Solefield)
